Here are some of the things happening at Algovera:
The Algovera-LYNX hackathon kicked off last week with a 45 minutes of orientation and then an optional social after hosted on Gather.town. For those that missed the event, the recording can be found here. Communication regarding the event will take place on the neuroscience channel of the Algovera Discord, make sure you stop by to stay up to date and ask any questions!
Last week, the reading group talked about Active Inference & Behavior Engineering for Teams. We were joined by some of the authors of the papers at the HQ. The reading group topic for this week is Holographic Consensus which attempts to solve the scalability problem with decentralized governance. Suggested readings can be found here, feel free to stop by discord in the #juntos-and-reading-group to discuss the topic ahead of the reading group.

We have created videos to accompany the Join and Earn Track Documentation! If you’re interested in checking out current working groups and active projects, take a look at the Join Track - if you’d like to start building and earning money in decentralized AI, check out the Earn track for paid work opportunities! We are introducing Office Hours at Algovera. Office hours are period of time that one of the core team members will be at the Algovera HQ (Gather.town). Members of the community are welcome to drop by and have a chat, ask questions, or hack on something that interests you!

Friday - Hithesh: 12pm-2pm
Gitcoin Grant Round 13 kicked off last week. Algovera raised $630 in the last round (GR12). Our application for GR13 is live and can be viewed here.
In round 15, we were granted a core tech earmark for our plan to work towards first-class integration with a data science platform (HuggingFace). After the voting period closed, Algovera had the most number of votes, finishing in first place for the first time! This is a huge milestone for the community and we’re incredibly excited for the work to come. We thank everyone who voted for us and helped make this possible - if you’re reading this newsletter you’re a part of the decentralized AI movement and we couldn’t be more grateful for this community!
